Mr Sagir Musa, Commissioner for Information, said this while briefing newsmen on the outcome of the State Executive Council, SEC, meeting on Wednesday in Dutse
He said the approval would facilitate smooth and efficient transportation and welfare of intending pilgrims to Saudi Arabia for the Hajj exercise.

The commissioner said the fund would be utilized for critical components of the Hajj operation including air transportation; accommodation, feeding, medical services, orientation programs and other logistical arrangements.
“This is to ensure a hitch free pilgrimage for all pilgrims from the state as they embark on the holy journey,” he said.
Musa reiterated commitment to smooth Hajj exercise in line with the guidelines set out by the Saudi authorities, stressing that the government would ensure transparency and accountability in the exercise.
He said the government directed relevant agencies to work closely, to enable the pilgrims fulfill their religious duties without hardship.
