The game will see the Gunners face Frank Lampard’s side, who won the Sky Bet Championship title last season at the Emirates.
Arsenal will face Aston Villa, and London rivals Chelsea in their next two matches. Xabi Alonso’s Chelsea will be away to Fulham at the Craven Cottage in their opening fixture of the 2026/27 season.
Liverpool, who also have a new manager, Andoni Iraola in charge will go to Newcastle United on Sunday, 23 August.
Man, City’s new era without Pep Guardiola begins at the Etihad Stadium against Bournemouth on Sunday, August 23.
Brentford and Tottenham Hotspur will clash in the first London derby of the season.
