Galatasaray have reportedly reduced Victor Osimhen’s asking price to €65 million as Al-Hilal renew their interest in the Nigerian striker.
Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen could be at the centre of another major transfer development after Galatasaray reportedly lowered their asking price for the forward to €65 million, amid renewed interest from Saudi Pro League giants Al-Hilal.
The reported reduction comes as uncertainty continues to surround Osimhen’s future in Istanbul. Galatasaray had previously been reluctant to consider offers for the Super Eagles star, but the latest reports suggest the Turkish champions have now placed a lower valuation on the striker as interest from abroad intensifies.
Al-Hilal has emerged as one of the clubs monitoring the situation closely. Reports indicate that the Saudi club has renewed its interest in Osimhen, adding another layer to a transfer saga that has attracted significant attention since the Nigerian completed his permanent move to Galatasaray.
Osimhen joined Galatasaray permanently after spending the previous season with the Istanbul club and subsequently signed a long-term contract. His performances have made him one of the club’s most important attacking players and one of the most sought-after Nigerian footballers in the transfer market.

The latest €65 million valuation is particularly significant because Galatasaray had previously been linked with much higher figures for the 27-year-old. Earlier reports during the transfer saga had suggested that the Turkish club could demand substantially more for the striker.
However, the reported reduction does not necessarily mean that a transfer to Al-Hilal is imminent. The two sides would still need to reach an agreement over the player’s transfer, while Osimhen’s own preference would also be an important factor in determining his next destination.
Recent reports have also suggested that Galatasaray have received substantial interest for Osimhen, although the club’s position over selling its star striker has reportedly varied depending on the circumstances and the player’s wishes.
The Nigerian forward remains a key figure for Galatasaray after helping the club establish itself as one of Turkey’s dominant sides. His goals, physical presence and ability to lead the attack have made him a major part of the club’s ambitions domestically and in European competition.
A move to Saudi Arabia would represent another major chapter in Osimhen’s career and could place him alongside some of the biggest names in world football competing in the Saudi Pro League.
For Galatasaray, meanwhile, any decision to sell Osimhen would raise questions about how the club intends to replace one of its most productive attacking players. The Turkish side would likely need to find a high-quality replacement capable of maintaining its competitive level.
The situation is therefore expected to remain closely watched as the transfer window progresses, with Al-Hilal’s interest potentially providing the next major development in the Osimhen transfer saga.
