A shocking incident has unfolded in Akwa, Anambra State, where a 20-year-old houseboy named Chigozie Dike allegedly severed the manhood of his madam’s aged father, reportedly with the intention of using it for a money ritual.
The tragic event occurred at Amaenyi, Awka, Anambra State, where the young houseboy had been brought in by his madam to care for her elderly father.
According to a source, Chigozie Dike had been in the household for barely a month before committing this heinous act.
The source provided a video recording showing members of the family discussing the incident. The accompanying write-up explained the gruesome details, stating that Chigozie Dike waited for his madam to leave for her restaurant business, then turned on the generator to muffle any sounds.
Subsequently, he allegedly used a machete to brutally attack the elderly man, including severing his manhood for ritualistic purposes.
The victim was quickly rushed to Amaku Hospital in Awka for urgent medical attention. The young houseboy is reported to be on the run, and the public is urged to report any sightings to the nearest police station.
In response to inquiries, the State Police Command’s spokesperson, DSP Tochukwu Ikenga, confirmed the incident.
He mentioned that the suspect, Chigozie Dike, has been apprehended and is currently in police custody. The motive behind this horrifying act remains under investigation by the authorities.
