The National Security Adviser , NSA, , Nuhu Ribadu, has issued an apology to the organized labour for the November 1 attack on Nigeria Labour Congress ,NLC),President, Joe Ajaero, in Owerri, Imo State.
Ribadu, in a statement from the Office of the NSA, expressed regret over the incident and condemned it as a violation of the rule of law and principles of freedom of association and expression.
He informed that the attackers had been arrested, and investigations were underway.
The NSA urged the NLC to reconsider its ongoing strike, emphasizing the government’s commitment to addressing the situation.
