In a tragic incident, gunmen have reportedly murdered Pastor Musa David of the Evangelical Church Winning All ,ECWA, in Kogi State.
The pastor was killed on Tuesday night after his abductors had collected a ransom of one million naira from his family.
The news of Pastor David’s murder was shared on the social media platform of ECWA church, with a message expressing deep sorrow and calling for prayers for the family, the church, and the DCC ,District Church Council, in this difficult moment.
Pastor Musa David was abducted around the Obajana area, and the news of his abduction had surfaced on Saturday, November 11, during the Kogi State governorship election.
He had previously served as the head of ECWA Bishara in Ajaokuta.
This tragic incident adds to the growing concerns about the safety of the Lokoja/Obajana/Kabba Road, where gunmen have been operating, abducting and causing fear among residents. In recent times, there have been reports of abductions and attacks along this road, making it a security challenge for the region.
