In a heartfelt letter, Sara Netanyahu, the wife of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, shared distressing news about a female hostage held by Hamas.
According to Israeli reports, the captive woman gave birth to a baby while in Hamas captivity. Sara Netanyahu, writing as a mother, expressed deep concern, revealing that among the hostages were 32 children, one of them being just 10 months old.
In her letter addressed to First Lady Jill Biden, Sara Netanyahu emphasized the unimaginable ordeal faced by the pregnant hostage, now a young mother, held captive by Hamas.
She pleaded for urgent action, urging cooperation to advocate for the release of the abducted children. Netanyahu stressed the importance of allowing the Red Cross to assess the condition of the hostages, emphasizing the need to end the month-long nightmare.
The letter referenced the deadly actions of Hamas on October 7, resulting in approximately 1,200 casualties in southern Israel. Hamas kidnapped 240 individuals during the attack, relocating them to the Gaza Strip, where they remain held.
The Gaza-based Ministry of Health, controlled by Hamas, reported over 11,500 casualties in Israeli counter-attacks.
Sara Netanyahu’s plea reflects the urgent call for international attention and assistance in addressing the humanitarian crisis involving innocent children and hostages held by Hamas.
The situation demands immediate action and advocacy for the well-being and release of those affected by these harrowing events.
