The unfortunate episode took place at the most unexpected of locations – near MACFES Royal Suites, along Kwandere Road, Tudun Gwandara in Lafia. It was around 8 pm when Gbaja, accompanied by two other unidentified individuals, fell victim to the sinister plans of unknown gunmen.
What was meant to be an ordinary evening, perhaps spent in the warmth of family or the camaraderie of a local joint, turned into a nightmare for the assistant manager and his companions.
As the news of the abduction spread like wildfire, a pall of anxiety settled over the town. Gbaja’s family and the entire community grappled with a sense of fear and uncertainty.
