One person reportedly died on Friday when a commercial bus rammed into a truck along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.
The Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, confirmed the incident to the newsmen in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The FRSC spokesperson in Ogun, Florence Okpe disclosed that the incident occurred at about 6 am after Danco filling station.
Okpe said three persons were involved in the crash, adding that while one person died in the crash, two others were rescued with no injuries.
It was gathered that the Mazda commercial bus registered as LEM56XB had crashed with the truck while speeding.
“The suspected cause of the crash is overspeeding and dangerous driving”, Okpe said.
She added that the corpse was deposited at the Idera morgue in Sagamu, Ogun State.
