Three traditional rulers from Oriire Local Government Area in the Ogbomoso geo-political zone, Oyo State, tragically died in a road accident that occurred at Arinkinkin area of Ogbomoso.
The three Royal fathers were said to be on their way to the funeral of a relative of one of their colleagues, the Oloolo of Oolo Oba Oyebunmi Ajayi.
The dead monarchs include Olodogbo of Odogbo, Onibowula of Bowula and Alayetoro of Ayetoro, all from Oriire local government.
The accident reportedly occurred when their vehicle rammed into an oncoming truck killing them instantly.
A source at the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Teaching Hospital, Ogbomoso confirmed the incident, saying their remains have been deposited at the hospital’s morgue.
The source added that four people were involved in the accident, and the fourth person who sustained injuries was admitted at a hospital.
