Head coach of Nigeria’s Super Eagles, Jose Peseiro has confirmed that two players in his squad are injured ahead of his side’s 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, quarter-final clash with Angola on Friday evening.
According to Peseiro, the two Super Eagles players are Bright Osayi-Samuel and Ahmed Musa.
The 63-year-old, who said this on Thursday, insisted that the duo are having some pain.
Peseiro, however, refused to rule out both players from Friday’s match between Nigeria and Angola.

Osayi-Samuel has played for the Super Eagles at the AFCON, while Musa has been a non-playing substitute in four consecutive matches.
