A commercial bus on Monday crushed to death a motorcyclist and his passenger on the Ughelli Expressway in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State.
A passenger in the bus disclosed that the driver crushed them while attempting to side-track a pothole on the road.
“The driver fled immediately the accident happened”, the bus passenger said.

Sympathisers at the scene blamed the cause of the accident on reckless driving on the part of the bus driver.
They also admonished motorcyclists to avoid plying the highway.
When contacted, Police spokesman in Delta, DSP Bright Edafe, confirmed the accident and the death toll.
