Nigerian comedian, Seyi Law has slammed Eedris Abdulkareem over claims that he regrets supporting President Tinubu.

Eedris Abdulkareem had earlier caused a stir online, as he claimed in an interview that Seyi Law told him he regrets supporting President Tinubu.

Refreshing your memory, Seyi Law was one of the few celebrities who was bold enough to rigorously campaign for the President during the General Election.

One year later, according to Eedris, Seyi regrets his decision as he noted how he had been insulted and cursed over his support for him and how he had stopped receiving money from people at his shows.

Eedris stated that the comedian made this known to me at an event, where they linked up. He also told the rapper that he never received any money from Tinubu as he only supported him for the interest he had in his mandate.

Reacting to it, Seyi Law in a tweet, expressed his love for Eedris as he debunked the allegation. He called on his colleague, Short Family as he questioned when he ever made such a statement.

“Eedris na person wey I love, but this is not true abeg. @iamshortfamily when I talk this one for your show?”.

Just a day back, Seyi Law had drummed up support for Tinubu, declaring that if another election was to be held tomorrow, he was still going to vote for Tinubu.

He also stated how he would rather stay with Moses through the wilderness than eat meat and drink wine in slavery in Egypt, hinting at the fact that Moses was Tinubu while Egypt was Peter Obi.

He further expressed that while a lot of Nigerians keep on killing the optimism of others with their hate and urge for gratification, he is better privileged because he is more informed than the rest of Nigerians.

Recall that following Tinubu’s victory in the election, Seyi Law had tendered an apology.

Seyi Law via his Instagram page apologized to all that he might have offended with his immense support for Bola Ahmed Tinubu (also known as Asiwaju).

This came after he mocked supporters of Peter Obi, popularly known as Obidients as he questioned if they were still crying or hoping for a rerun. He asserted that Peter Obi didn’t win the election and he knew it but only wanted Tinubu disqualified, because he thought he had a better chance of winning a rerun.

Last year, he shared a disturbing message his wife received from a political extreme over his presidential choice.

The comedian’s wife had received a DM from a troll praying for his daughter’s death and wishing him and his family negativity.
