The Zamfara State Commissioner for Information and Culture, Mannir Mu’azu Haidara Kaura, revealed that the state’s executive council has sanctioned the retirement of all permanent secretaries without assignments in the State Civil Service.
Kaura disclosed this to the journalists on Wednesday and assured them that the affected individuals would receive their entitled benefits.
Furthermore, Kaura elaborated that there was a decision to redirect publicity funds owed by any entity to the consolidated revenue account.

Kaura emphasized the importance of continued prayers from the people of the state for divine intervention to reinstate peace and stability.
He said, “no society could thrive in the absence of peace, adding that the insecurity situation in the state had touched all sectors.”
