Singer Cat Janice has died at the age of 31 after a battle with a rare form of cancer, sarcoma.
Confirming her death on Wednesday via his Instagram handle, Janice’s brother said the deceased passed on at her childhood home and surrounded by her loving family.
Janice was suffering from sarcoma in which cancer develops in bones and soft tissues. She had a surgery, underwent chemotherapy and radiation and was declared cancer-free in 2022.

However, in January this year, Janice shared with her fans that her cancer had returned and before entering the hospice, she transferred her songs to her 7-year-old son, Loren.
The late singer’s song became a sensation on TikTok, reaching No.1 on the Billboard Top 50 and making its way into the top 10 on Billboard’s Electronic Songs chart.
Her brother will continue to manage her brand, including posthumous releases of her music.
