British-born Nigerian actress Beverly Naya has highlighted aspects she would like to see changed in men, especially Nigerian men.
In a recent interview with actor Efa Iwara, Naya expressed her wish for men to be more emotionally in tune, like women. She highlighted that Nigerian men often perceive emotional vulnerability as a weakness due to societal conditioning. Naya emphasized that women appreciate emotional vulnerability in men and wished for a shift in societal norms regarding masculinity.

Naya observed that when a man becomes vulnerable with a woman without realizing it, it often indicates love. She expressed her desire for men to embrace vulnerability without fear of judgment or embarrassment. Naya highlighted that Nigerian men are conditioned to view vulnerability as weakness, a perception she disagrees with.
She hopes for a change where men feel comfortable embracing their vulnerable and sensitive sides more openly.
