After weeks of rehabilitation work, the Lagos Third Mainland Bridge has been fully reopened to vehicular movement.
On Thursday, David Umahi, the Minister of Works, instructed Olukorede Kesha, the Federal Controller of Works in Lagos, to initiate the bridge’s reopening.
The rehabilitation works hindered full access to all the sections of the bridge.
Umahi said the federal government has commenced the second phase of rehabilitation work which involves the underwater damage to the bridge.
