Abuja, Nigeria’s capital, has been designated as the host city for Group III of the Davis Cup Championship this year by the International Tennis Federation.
Nigeria returned to Group III alongside Ghana from the Group IV championships held in Kigali, Rwanda in 2023 and now the team will be campaigning in Group III with the sole aim of gaining promotion to Group II in 2025.

Nigeria will battle for the promotion slots alongside Benin Republic, Namibia, Cote D’Ivoire, Ghana, and Zimbabwe from July 15 to 20, 2024.
The matches will be played in a round robin format and the top three teams will be promoted to Group II in 2025, while the bottom two teams will be relegated to Group IV in 2025.
