The Chief Imam of the Uso Community, Owo Local Government, Ondo State, Alhaji Ibrahim Oyinlade, has regained his freedom.
Oyinlade was reportedly kidnapped along the Owo-Akure Expressway on Saturday but gained his freedom on Sunday evening.
Credible News gathered that Oyinlade was working on his farm when hoodlums invaded the premises and took him away.
A family member of the victim disclosed that the abductors demanded N10m ransom for his release. However, the family member did not state whether the ransom was paid before the cleric was released.
“Though the abductors contacted the family in the morning today, Sunday, and demanded N10m, but to God be the glory, he was set free this evening”, the family member said.
