He added that it is ready to develop an accountability, monitoring and evaluation framework, to help the key officers managing the strategic plan to track progress, pledging to support the state government to enhance the competitiveness of staff on reporting and budgeting.

UNICEF also said it would assist Governor Dauda Lawal, to know where the resources are going, the results achieved, and how it would turn around the lives of the people.

While speaking, Governor Lawal commended UNICEF for its support to the state, and described the ten-year strategic plan as a roadmap to guide his administration in addressing challenges and achieving development goals.

UNICEF added that it is working to ensure children in the state have access to quality and inclusive education, with particular emphasis on out-of-school children to enroll them in school, to acquire appropriate quality education to help them realize their full potential when they grow up.
