Le Roux’s emergence followed Nigerian-affiliated model, Chidimma Vanessa Adetshina’s withdrawal from the contest after her nationality caused national debate and government investigation.
Adetshina, a model of Nigerian father and a Mozambican mother , became the center of a nationality row in July after she qualified for the round of 16 of the Miss South Africa beauty pageant.
She recently withdrew from the competition despite being among the 11 Finalist, after the South African Department of Home Affairs alleged that her mother may have committed fraud and identity theft.
