Cases of explosions have become very frequent in recent times with many causing fatalities.
On June, two persons died after a tanker suspected to be carrying Liquefied Natural Gas exploded at the Obiri-Ikwerre flyover along the East-West on the outskirts of Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
It was gathered that the explosion occurred after the tanker skidded off while trying to negotiate the bypass on the flyover and went up in flames, trapping a salon car with two occupants.
