Super Eagles and Napoli forward, Victor Osimhen, has been ranked as the third most valuable striker in world football popular statistics medium, Transfermarkt.
Osimhen is ranked only behind Paris Saint-Germain and French striker Kylian Mbappe as well as Manchester City and Norwegian striker Erling Haaland.
The Nigerian recorded a successful 2022/2023 season with his 26 goals in 32 games, helping his Napoli side to win the Italian Serie A and emerging as the league’s highest goal scorer.
Osimhen also netted five goals in the UEFA Champions League, making him the highest-ranked striker in Serie A and Africa.
Tottenham Hotspur and England forward Harry Kane occupies the fourth position, followed by Inter Milan and Argentinian forward, Lautaro Martinez.
