President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and renowned business tycoon Alhaji Aliko Dangote will headline this year’s Nigeria Diaspora Investment Summit, set to take place in Abuja from November 5 to 7.
Tinubu is scheduled to deliver the keynote address as the event’s special guest of honor, while Dangote will serve as the guest speaker. The hybrid summit, which is organized by the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission and led by its Chairman, Mrs. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, in collaboration with Nigeria Diaspora Summit Initiative. is expected to draw over 2,000 participants, including 500 physical attendees and exhibitors in Abuja, with others joining virtually.
At a media briefing in Abuja, Mrs. Dabiri-Erewa emphasized the importance of the event to Nigeria’s economic agenda, particularly in recognizing the role of the diaspora in driving national development. “We are honored to have President Tinubu as our special guest of honor. His participation underscores the vital role this summit plays in harnessing the potential of the diaspora for Nigeria’s growth,” she said.
The event aims to foster connections between diaspora investors and local opportunities, enhancing economic growth through strategic partnerships across various sectors.
