The Nigerian Air Force, NAF, in partnership with the Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development is set to organize the 2025 Nigeria International Air Show, Tunde Moshood, Special Adviser on Media and Communications to the Minister, Festus Keyamo disclosed in a statement.
The Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Hassan Abubakar during a courtesy visit to the minister in Abuja, highlighted the synergy as a step toward bolstering Nigeria’s global presence in aviation and aerospace.
Abubakar disclosed that NAF had been planning its air show but decided to align efforts with the ministry’s initiative for greater impact. This collaboration aims to elevate the event’s international appeal and foster stronger industry partnerships.

The minister praised Abubakar’s vision and emphasized the importance of showcasing Nigeria’s aviation and aerospace capabilities on a global scale. To ensure effective coordination, the duo announced the formation of an eight-member committee composed of representatives from both entities to handle logistics, international collaborations, and stakeholder engagement.
Set to take place in Lagos, the 2025 Nigeria International Air Show will bring together global industry players, including manufacturers, investors, regulators, and aviation enthusiasts. The event aims to spotlight cutting-edge technologies, foster international partnerships, and drive innovation in Nigeria’s aviation sector.
“This partnership will deliver a world-class event that not only promotes Nigeria’s aviation and aerospace industries but also stimulates economic growth, innovation, and international recognition,” Keyamo stated.
