Popular Nigerian comedian, Mark Angel has disclosed that he stepped down from managing the careers of young comedians, Emmanuella and Success, due to his increasingly demanding schedule.
This development follows recent controversy involving former crew member Denilson Igwe who accused Mark Angel of financial exploitation.
However, Mark Angel clarified that his decision was not influenced by these allegations but by his increasingly demanding schedule.
During a TikTok live session which went viral on Wednesday, he explained that Emmanuella and Success are now managed by a professional agency, which will enable him to focus on other projects.
Despite stepping back from management duties, Mark Angel assured fans that he still collaborates with the young stars on creative projects.
He said: “I no longer manage Emmanuella and Success. They are now being managed by a professional agency because I’m have more work now and too busy to manage them. But I still work with them.”

Mark Angel is a Nigerian scriptwriter and YouTuber. He is best known for the Mark Angel Comedy series of shorts on YouTube, often featuring child comedians such as his cousin, Emmanuella Samuel his niece and her cousin “Aunty” Success Madubuike.
Angel’s YouTube channel was the first African comedy (Afrocomedy) channel to reach one million subscribers. Mark Angel has a wife who also acts within his productions with his fellow actors, which are Mr. Azu, Baze10, Ebere, The Law, Mimi, Kingsley Brown.
Emmanuella is Angel’s longest-appearing actress. She has won comedy awards in Nigeria and Australia for her work with Angel, and is Africa’s youngest YouTube award winner.
She started film work in school as part of a class video project prior to being chosen by Angel for his stable of actors. Videos starring her often reach up to a million views in the first week after posting.
