The Secretary to the Sokoto State Government, SSG, Alhaji Muhammadu Bello Sifawa, tragically lost his daughter and three of her children in a fire outbreak early Monday morning.
The woman, who passed away, was the wife of Alhaji Muhammadu Yusuf Bello, the Permanent Secretary of the State Ministry of Sports and Youths Development.

The fire broke out during the late hours of the night, consuming the entire house while the family was asleep.
Alhaji Yusuf Bello, the husband of the SSG’s daughter, was the sole survivor of the incident.
As of the time of reporting, investigations were ongoing to determine the cause of the fire.
Firefighters from the state fire service worked tirelessly for hours before managing to bring the blaze under control.
The late housewife and her three children have since been laid to rest following Muslim funeral prayers at the Sheikh Shehu Usmanu Danfodiyo Mosque.
