In an incredible act of kindness, Gidi Real Estate Limited awarded Abayomi a full scholarship to cover his education up to the university level, provided a fully furnished two-bedroom apartment and donated a sum of one million naira to the family.
The news has brought a wave of relief to Abayomi’s widowed mother, who has been struggling to make ends meet as a cleaner in the same school where her son faced this unfortunate incident.
Speaking on the development, representatives of Gidi Real Estate Limited said: “This is not just about helping a child, it’s about restoring hope to a family in need and showing that acts of kindness can rewrite destinies.”
The story gained traction after it was amplified by VeryDarkMan, whose consistent advocacy helped draw public attention to the injustice faced by Abayomi.
Many on social media have praised the role of both VeryDarkMan and Gidi Real Estate Limited in turning what was initially a heartbreaking situation into one of hope and joy.
The mother of Abayomi expressed her heartfelt gratitude, saying: “I never imagined help would come this way. This is a miracle for me and my son. God bless everyone who supported us.”
The gesture has sparked conversations online about child abuse and the importance of teachers adopting better ways to guide struggling students rather than resorting to harsh punishments.
Many have called for better training and stricter regulations to protect children in schools.
To those inspired by Abayomi’s story, one commentator humorously remarked: “May God send you a slapper who will slap your head into the next level!”
This uplifting story serves as a reminder that while challenges may come, there is always hope for a brighter future when kindness and advocacy prevail.
