As of now, government officials and security agencies, including the Katsina State Police Command, have not commented on Tsiga’s release.
Tsiga was abducted by an unknown group of bandits on February 6th, 2025, at his home in Tsiga village, located in the Bakori Local Government Area of Katsina State.
During the raid, two individuals were injured, and one of the kidnappers was accidentally shot dead by a member of his own group.
