Ghana’s post-independence journey, which began in 1957, continues to serve as an inspiration not only for Nigeria but for the broader African continent, according to the release.

The statement also emphasized the strong and enduring bilateral ties between Nigeria and Ghana, rooted in shared history, cultural ties, and a mutual vision for a united and prosperous Africa.

Nigeria reaffirmed its commitment to further enhancing cooperation with Ghana in vital areas such as trade, education, security, and regional integration.

The two countries will continue to collaborate closely within the framework of the Economic Community of West African States and support the African Union’s Agenda 2063.

In conclusion, the Federal Government conveyed its hopes for continued peace, prosperity, and success for the people of Ghana in their future endeavors.
