In a significant move following the Federal Government’s Naira-for-Crude agreement with local refineries, Dangote Refinery has announced a reduction in the price of fuel to N865 per litre.
This marks a N15 drop from the previous price of N880 per litre, which was in effect as of Wednesday. The refinery management communicated the price adjustment to customers in a notice sent out on Thursday morning.
Chinedu Ukadike, the National Publicity Secretary of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria, had earlier assured the public that such a price reduction would follow the Federal Executive Council’s directive regarding the Naira-for-Crude initiative.
