Nigerian actress Juliana Olayode, widely known for her role as Toyo Baby in the popular TV series Jenifa’s Diary, has shared a startling experience that she says nearly pulled her into witchcraft — all triggered by an innocent-looking online link.

In a video posted to her Instagram account, Olayode described how she was casually browsing her phone when she clicked on an ad that asked, “Have you ever broken a bone before?” Almost immediately after opening the link, she said she was overwhelmed by a disturbing spiritual sensation that forced her to shut it down.

Shaken by the incident, the actress used her platform to warn her fans and the general public about the spiritual dangers that may lurk in seemingly harmless digital content. “Witchcraft is everywhere,” she stated, “and it often disguises itself as curiosity, enlightenment or fun.”

Olayode specifically warned against engaging with online materials that involve tarot cards, spiritual music, incense rituals, or prompts like “Do you know who you were in a past life?” According to her, such content may act as entry points for dark spiritual forces. “You don’t even have to click a link to be initiated,” she said. “It could be a movie, a song, or even an item from a friend.”

Citing Acts 16:16-18 from the Bible, the actress emphasized that not all spiritual knowledge comes from God. She noted that many people begin to experience fear, anxiety, strange voices, or nightmares after unknowingly opening spiritual gateways through the media they consume.

“Guard your heart and your gates — your eyes, your ears, your mind,” Olayode advised. She also warned that some people get deceived into practices like burning incense to clear negative energy, without realizing that they’re stepping into the occult.

In her caption accompanying the video, she wrote:

“Witchcr@ft is everywhere these days. They’re not hiding anymore; they’re not waiting till midnight to fly. It looks attractive, it looks like fun, but it’s not of God.”

She cautioned her audience to be extremely selective about the spiritual gatherings they attend, the churches they worship at, and the type of content they allow into their minds and homes.

Finally, Olayode reinforced her Christian faith, stating unequivocally that true connection with God can only come through Jesus Christ.

“If you want God, go through Jesus Christ. Not crystals, not past life regression, not mystical practices. Jesus is the only way.”

The post has since generated widespread discussion among her followers, with many praising her boldness in addressing a sensitive but increasingly relevant topic in today’s digital age.
