Big Brother Naija’s Sunday live show turned out to be a night of surprises and celebration.

In addition to Biggie’s dramatic announcement that no housemate would be leaving, contestant Faith was crowned the “Most Influential Player” of the week by his fellow housemates.

Host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu once again stole the spotlight with his signature Sunday presence.

Dressed in a Sultan-inspired robe reimagined by fashion designer Ugo Monye, the outfit drew inspiration from the late HRH Muhammadu Maccido, the 19th Sultan of Sokoto.

Sharing photos on his official X handle, Ebuka wrote:
“Reimagined by UGO MONYE, inspired by HRH Muhammadu Maccido. Elected Sultan in November 1988. Overturned by the military 3 days later & exiled. Returned & turbaned as the 19th Sultan of Sokoto in April 1996. Died in a plane crash in October 2006.

The tribute, paired with the regal navy robe, geometric motifs, and feathered turban, sparked admiration across social media.

Fans described the look as more than fashion—“a lesson in Nigerian history told through style.”

Ebuka’s outfit quickly became the highlight of the night online, with X users showering him with praise:
@vibesonchain1: “Most fashionable man in Nigeria.”

@Aubrey_Senyolo: “South Africa 🇿🇦 loves you, Ebuka. Drip Drip 🔥🔥”

@Winifunds: “Everything suits you.”

@is_ugee: “Telling Nigerian stories using fashion and style 👏

In another unexpected development, Biggie unveiled a new twist that gave housemates the power to vote for their most impactful peer of the week.

The title of “Most Influential Player” went to Faith, whose performance across tasks, workout routines, house chores, and entertainment made him stand out.

The recognition showcased Faith’s growing reputation as both a team player and a force to be reckoned with.

His win was seen as proof of his dedication and charisma, impressing fellow contestants who described him as the one who brought “the most energy and drive” to the house.

With all contestants safe and Faith enjoying new status as “Most Influential Player,” the stage is set for a fierce new week.

The upcoming Head of House challenge is expected to test alliances, strategies, and endurance as the game inches toward its halfway mark.
