Atiku Abubakar and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, have lined up 100 witnesses to testify in their petition challenging the election of Bola Ahmed Tinubu before the Presidential Election Petition Court.
Chief Chris Uche, SAN, lawyer to the petitioners disclosed on Saturday that the witnesses will include those already listed before the court and those to be subpoenaed.
Lawyer to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Abubakar Mahmud, SAN, said his client who conducted the disputed election plans to call two witnesses to defend the poll.
The President-elect, Bola Tinubu will call 39 witnesses to defend his victory in addition to those to be subpoenaed.
The All Progressives Congress, APC, which was jointly declared as winner of the February 25 presidential alongside Tinubu announced it’s intention to call 25 witnesses to establish the victory in addition to those to be subpoenaed.
