Seun Kuti goes home on bail

Afrobeat musician Seun Kuti has been released from police custody after meeting his bail conditions.

His lawyer Adeyinka Olumide-Fusika, SAN, disclosed that Kuti was released around 7.30 pm on Tuesday.

Olumide-Fusika said the singer was released to his family after meeting his bail conditions.

He also confirmed that he would be at the magistrate court tomorrow for his trial after proceeding was adjourned today.

The court was awaiting a legal advice from the Lagos State Director of Public Prosecutions.
