A Lagos coroner court sitting in Ikorodu has summoned Azeez Fashola, a.k.a Naira Marley, Owodunni Eletu, a.k.a Sam Larry, and Owodunni Ibrahim, a.k.a Primeboy over the death of Ilerioluwa Aloba popularly known as MohBad.
The Coroner Magistrate, Adedayo Shotobi, on Friday summoned the trio to appear before it on October 25.
The Coroner noted that they have been invited to the ongoing inquest to unravel the cause of MohBad’s death and those culpable over the incident.
The police also informed the coroner that an autopsy is yet to be completed to determine the actual cause of his death.
The coroner however, instructed the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department to ensure the presence of the music stars at the next adjourned date of October 25.
The coroner issued the order after taking submissions from interested parties in the matter.
Recall that the Sabo-Yaba Chief Magistrates’ Court had ordered the remand of Naira Marley and three others for the alleged conspiracy and murder of the late singer.
The Chief Magistrate, Adeola Olatubosun ordered the remand for 21 days in the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, and adjourned the case until 25 October.
MohBad, a former signee of Naira Marley’s record label, died at the age of 27 in Lagos under controversial circumstances.
There have been allegations that Naira Marley and his crew repeatedly physically assaulted him for leaving the record label.
Thousands of Nigerians have since demanded justice for the late singer in nationwide protests.
