Lagos-Ibadan auto crash kills two, injures 10

A tragic auto crash occurred along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway, resulting in the death of two individuals and injuries to ten others.

The incident, which took place at the Kara turning of the inward section of the expressway, involved two vehicles: a white Mazda Bus with registration number XV945EPE and an unregistered white and blue Howo Sino truck.

According to Florence Okpe, the spokesperson for the Ogun Federal Roads Safety Corps ,FRSC,  sector command, reckless driving and route violations were responsible for the collision.

The injured victims were taken to Famobis Hospital, while the deceased were deposited at Idera mortuary.

Anthony Uga, the State Sector Commander of FRSC, emphasized the importance of cautious driving and urged drivers to avoid violating traffic rules.

The FRSC remains committed to ensuring road safety and providing secure services for all road users.
