In a family dispute involving actor John Okafor, popularly known as Mr Ibu, his wife Stella Okafor accused their adopted child, Jasmine, of taking control of Mr Ibu’s bank account where donations were made for the actor.

Stella alleged that Jasmine hijacked the account and engaged in lies and propaganda to maintain control.

She also addressed claims that she received a donation of N1 million for personal use.

However, Jasmine responded, expressing a desire to avoid online drama and emphasizing her concern for Mr Ibu’s well-being.

In defense of Jasmine, Mr Ibu’s second son, Daniel Okafor, refuted Stella’s claims.

Daniel asserted that he, as the signatory and Mr Ibu’s next of kin, has access to the account, and Jasmine does not control it.

Daniel confirmed that Stella Maris is his stepmother and refrained from providing additional details about his biological mother.

Recall that Crediblenews had reported that Mr Ibu was in the hospital receiving treatment and one of his leg was amputated.

The family dispute has garnered attention on social media, with conflicting statements from the parties involved.
