Nigerian Singer, Bella Shmurda has called on the police to release the body of his deceased friend, Ilerioluwa Aloba, a.k.a MohBad.

Bella Shmurda in a post on his X handle, formally twitter, said MohBad died two months and his body was taken for an autopsy, but the Police has held on to the body.

He called on the police to release MohBad’s body for a befitting funeral to be held for him and also called for the result of the autopsy to be released.

He wrote: “It’s been over 2month mohBad died and his body was taken in for autopsy but yet no result which is fine, but pls release his body that boy need a befitting burial and needs to rest finally, Naija police what’s going on, we need an answer here, where is the result? Where is his body?”.

Recall that the Lagos State Police Command had exhumed the body of the late singer for autopsy.

Similarly, Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh had earlier demanded that the Nigerian Police Force release the body of MohBad for burial, lamenting the force’s sluggishness in completing the investigation into his death.

Dikeh made this known in an Instagram post, adding that justice must prevail in the death of the ‘Beast and Peace’ crooner.

Dikeh wrote: “Give us MohBad for a befitting burial. We are tired of your carelessness and slowness. If no one speaks, I will.

“I have invested too much of my emotions, time and love to see this Justice go through.

“Honestly, we have given you all the more time than necessary. This is not the case to be swept under. We want Justice”.

MohBad died on September 12, 2023 and was buried the following day in Ikorodu, Lagos.

The singer’s sudden death generated controversy on the circumstances that surrounded it, with many alleging that Naira Marley and Sam larry had a hand in his death after they fell out.
