In a candid post on his verified Facebook handle, Mike Bamiloye, the founder of the Mount Zion Faith Ministries has spoken out about the negative attitudes of some married Christian women in their matrimonial homes.
Bamiloye expressed concern about women in the Lord who, despite their outward appearance of beauty and smiles, exhibit stubbornness, rudeness, disrespect, and a lack of submission to their husbands.

Mike Bamiloye was born in Ilesa, a town in Osun State in southwestern Nigeria on April 13, 1960but hails from Ijebu-Ijesa in Osun State. He was trained at Divisional Teachers’ Training College at Ipetumodu where he began his career. Bamiloye founded Mount Zion on 5 August 1985.
Bamiloye’s debut drama Hell in Conference was staged at the National Christian Teachers Conference in 1986 at Ilesa in Osun State. He has featured, produced, and directed several Nigerian gospel films over the years. A movie that explains his early life and the beginning of his ministry was released in 2020 to celebrate his 60th birthday.
The Christian film producer noted that such women may present themselves as dedicated in church, standing beside their husbands, but their behavior at home tells a different story. Bamiloye highlighted traits such as being unbroken, insensitive, and stingy with their bodies, describing them as the direct opposite of who they claim to be in church.
He specifically mentioned that these women dictate terms for giving their husbands access to their bodies and exhibit a lack of submissiveness at home. Bamiloye expressed concern for husbands married to such women and prayed for God Almighty to deliver men from such situations.
The post underscores the importance of genuine character and submission in marriage, urging individuals to align their actions at home with their public personas. Bamiloye’s message resonates with his commitment to addressing issues within the Christian community and promoting healthy relationships based on biblical principles.
