It is said that a vengeful husband decapitated his wife for taking too long to prepare him a cup of tea.

Authorities in the state of Uttar Pradesh say that the 52-year-old suspect, Dharamveer killed his wife Sundari at their house in the village of Faljagadh, close to the capital city of Delhi, using a sword.

Because his 50-year-old wife was taking too long to make him a drink, he beheaded her after stabbing her 15 times with the sword, according to Indian media.

The head of the local police department stated that the husband asked where the brew was as soon as he woke up, just minutes after his wife had started to prepare it.

The police claimed that, Dharamveer became enraged after being told it would take an additional ten minutes. He then allegedly went to get a weapon and attacked his wife while she was sitting over the stove.

The Times of India was informed by Police Superintendent Vivek Yadav that Sundari got up at six in the morning and started making tea, just like she did every day.

The couple’s four children slept in another room when Dharamveer woke up a few minutes later and called out to her for a cup of tea, he said.

Five minutes or so later, Dharamveer hurried to the makeshift kitchen on the terrace and asked for tea once more. Yadav claimed that after his wife informed him that the tea would take an additional ten minutes to prepare, he became enraged and threw the utensils away.

The officer claimed that after going to retrieve the sword, he came back and killed his wife with it. When Soldier, their son, heard her screams, he raced to the scene and saw his mother bleeding profusely.

As the other kids attempted to assist her, Dharamveer allegedly attacked his son, causing the kids to run to their room.

The cries alerted the villagers, who hurried to their house and discovered Sundari dead in a pool of blood.
