NURTW vehicles begin 50% slash on inter-state routes

The National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW, has disclosed that vehicles operated by its members are now offering fifty percent discount on inter-state routes during the holiday season.

The Nation reported that, Nigerians planning to travel outside their country for the Christmas and New Year holidays can now receive a 50% rebate for interstate travel and a 100% rebate for train travel, thanks to President Tinubu’s approval on Wednesday, December 20.

The NURTW Oshodi branch released a statement on Friday, December 22, that included this information.

The statement mentioned that due to an increase in passenger travel during the holiday season, transportation fares may be reviewed upwards at any time and without prior notice.
