Bahago Afa, a suspected criminal ring leader who recently repented, was arrested again by the Kano State Police Command for armed robbery along with six other people.
The command went on to say that its men had destroyed multiple criminal networks that had made the state a center for armed robberies, thuggery, and other illegal activity.
This was revealed on Friday by state police commissioner Usaini Gumel as she paraded the ringleader who had been apprehended again along with six other people.

He declared, “As with Bahago Afa and others, there are already over 700 repentant criminals on our lists, and anybody among them that dares to go back will be declared an enemy of peace.”
Gumel claims that the suspects were taken into custody at their hiding place.
“Today, we have dealt with Daba’s ‘thuggery,’ but they are now engaging in robbery activities and running an organized crime that is now reduced to robbery,” he continued.
“Anywhere police or anyone else sees them, they should arrest them and bring them before the police.” There are 72 people on the list of those who have been declared enemies of peace.
