On Wednesday, the late Rotimi Akeredolu, the former governor of Ondo state was honored by prominent Lagos stakeholders led by President Bola Tinubu.
During the stakeholders meeting, Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu led the call for a one-minute silence in Akeredolu’s honor at the State House, Marina.
Dignitaries in attendance included Speaker of the Lagos House of Assembly Mudashiru Obasa, Femi Gbajabiamila, Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu, Lagos
Deputy Governor Kadri Hamzat, National President of the Association of Local Government of Nigeria, ALGON, and Chairman of the Bariga Local Council, Hon. Kolade David Alabi. Traditional rulers were also present.

“You are having problems seeing me; the job is monumental; it’s not a one-man job; it’s a collective team effort, and you have to be able to listen, interpret, and tolerate,” stated Tinubu in his remarks.”Sometimes unexpected things happen.
