Raimi Olayiwola Aminu, the Ondo state commissioner for housing, lands, and infrastructure has resigned from his position.
This occurs less than a day after Oluwarotimi Akeredolu passed away and Lucky Aiyedatiwa took office as the new governor of Ondo State.
Aminu announced his resignation effective Thursday, December 28 in a letter to Princess Oladunni Odu, Secretary to the State Government.

Given that his boss and leader, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, SAN, CON, joined the Saint Triumphant, Aminu claimed his choice was motivated by conscience.
“I express my gratitude to our beloved Arakunrin and the people of the State for giving me the chance to hold the positions of Commissioner for Infrastructure, Lands, and Housing, Special Adviser on Lands, Works, and Infrastructure, and Senior Special Assistant on Lands & Infrastructure in his cabinet.”
