The Federal Capital Territory High Court has acceded to the request of Godwin Emefiele, the former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, allowing him to travel outside of Abuja.
Emefiele had appeared in court seeking a variation of his bail conditions.

However, while granting the request, the court imposed conditions that he must remain within the country and adhere to specific terms outlined in his bail agreement.
Emefiele had been previously restricted to the Federal Capital Territory in his bail terms.
