An Ikeja High Court on Monday arraigned a plumber, Michael Adewale, who allegedly robbed three people of phones and a motorcycle.
Adewale, whose address was not provided, is facing a four-count charge bordering on conspiracy to commit armed robbery and armed robbery.
Adewale, 28, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge.
Lagos State counsel, Ms Titi Adeyegbe, told the court that the defendant and others at large, on Feb. 23, 2023, robbed one Mary Olatunji of a handbag containing a Tecno phone and N10,000.
Adeyegbe disclosed that the defendant committed the alleged crimes at Abattoir, Agege, Lagos State.
She stated that the defendant robbed Olatunji while in possession of a short gun.

Adeyegbe added that Adewale robbed one Mr Dada Adetokunbo of a Tecno Spark worth N42,000.
She further disclosed that the defendant robbed one Mr Aminu Abdullahi of a motorcycle at Ojokoro, Ijaiye, Lagos State.
The prosecutor said that the offences contravened Sections 299 and 297 (2)(a) of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.
Justice Adenike Coker adjourned the case until Feb. 19, for trial.
