The striker for the Super Eagles and Napoli, Victor Osimhen, calls Rema “one of the biggest artists in the world.” Osimhen talked about the globalization of Afrobeats in a recent interview with Golazo of CBS Sports.
Rema is ranked among Burna Boy, Wizkid, and Davido by the 25-year-old, who called him “one of the biggest artists in the world right now.”
He also mentioned Omah Lay, Seyi Vibez, and Asake, who are “also on the rise” in terms of global prominence.
“Aside from Wizkid, Davido,, we have Asake, Seyi Vibez, and Omah Lay. We also have Rema, Rema is one of the biggest artists in the world right now,” Osimhen said.
“Rema is there but these guys that I have called Omah Lay, Seyi Vibez and Asake are also on the rise. In a few years, I think they are going to burst out just like Davido, Wizkid and Burna Boy.”
