Operatives of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested a suspected robber, Solomon Balogun, and recovered a pistol from him in the Ojo area of the state.
The command confirmed the arrest in a statement it posted on its verified X handle, formally twitter @LagosPoliceNG on Sunday.
It stated that the suspect was arrested on Saturday based on a tip off from members of the pubic.

“Officers from Iba Division arrested the suspect on January 27 after information was received that three men on a motorcycle were robbing people of their possession.
“A pistol and live cartridges were recovered from the suspect”, it stated, adding that investigation is ongoing.
