Yobe State Government led by Gov Mai Mala Buni has declared Wednesday, Feb 7, a work free day to mark a three-days prayer for late former Governor of the state, Sen Bukar Abba Ibrahim.
The Director General, Press and Media Affairs to the governor, Alhaji Mamman Mohammed disclosed this while addressing newsmen on Tuesday in Damaturu.
He stated that the day was set aside to offer prayers for the former governor who died in Saudi Arabia on Sunday.

The three days prayer, according to him, would be offered at the Government House Mosque, Damaturu.

Mohammed noted that Yobe government had officially took over the funeral rites to honour the late governor.
He also explained that Gov Buni, in the company of government officials and the family of the late governor, has been receiving condolences from sympathisers from within and outside the state at the Government House, Damaturu.
